This policy (together with the Terms of Use sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. 

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is EWI Capital Limited (‘EWI Capital’).

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

EWI Capital may collect and process the following data about you:

EWI Capital may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type for system administration.  This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

For the same reason, EWI Capital may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer.  Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive.  They help us to improve the EWI Capital Web Site and to deliver a better and more personalised service.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we collect from you is stored on information technology systems located in the EEA which are operated by us.  Some data processing in relation to web and email services is carried out on our behalf by a third party.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.  Although EWI Capital will take reasonable measures to protect your personal data, EWI Capital cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the EWI Capital Web Site; any transmission is at your own risk.
